So long ago...

We all started somewhere, on a path that we couldn't decide to either make it or break it. 
My path started by thinking I wasn't good enough, and nothing really fit. Kind of like my diet, and my clothes... I'd start a diet, think this one wont work, and fall off again. 

Turns out, I am not alone.


My superpower is helping women become the best version of themselves...

I'm a proud mom to two incredible teenagers who are my world—one stepping boldly into the realm of science (non medical 🤣), the other an aspiring Paralympian with dreams as big as their determination.

Alongside them, I have the unwavering support of the best partner anyone could ask for.

When I'm not working you'll find me in the coziest corner of my home, a crochet project in my hands- though I must admit, my crochet projects do take a bit longer than expected!

If I am not crocheting then you can find me with my chickens or in my garden or meticulously grooming my lawn to perfection, much to my family's amusement. To me, a well-kept lawn is not just grass—it's a canvas.

But at the heart of it all, I am a Health and Weight Loss Guru. There's an indescribable joy in guiding women on their weight loss success, helping them to embrace food without fear of deprivation, and to live their lives with confidence. Witnessing the transformation and the "aha" moments in the women I coach is what fuels my passion.

So, whether you're curious about considering a weight loss journey that feels like a celebration rather than a chore, or simply want to chat about the latest Netflix series worth crocheting through, I'm here. Let's do this imperfect journey together and rediscover the joy in living a life full of health, happiness, and those perfect lawn lines.

Drinking lemon water, morning mediation, journaling, exercise, getting kids off to school, tending to the chickens, walking the dog and getting ready for an awesome day.

My Story...

Growing up, I heard comments from my family about my weight that really hurt. It's difficult when those you love are the ones passing judgment. That kicked off a pretty challenging journey for me around how I saw myself and my
self-worth.

Remember those awkward middle school years? Yeah, add the label "overweight" to that, and you've got my story. 

I tried so many diets, thinking each would be the magic fix to make me happy and confident. 

But instead of finding joy and self-love, I ended up feeling more frustrated and critical of myself.

Despite my best efforts to lose weight, I often felt lost. I encountered medical professionals who offered little more than prescriptions and disheartening advice like “You’re probably perimenopausal” or “Maybe you aren’t trying hard enough.”

It was a cycle of seeking solutions but finding none that truly worked.

My perspective shifted when, as a nurse, I met patients facing similar struggles. Their stories resonated with me, sparking a realization: I needed a change.

So, I dove into the world of health and fitness, becoming a Health Coach, Personal Trainer, and Online Fitness Nutrition Coach. Through this journey, I had a revelation that transformed my approach to health and weight loss.

It wasn’t about extreme diets or rigorous exercise routines but about understanding balance.

I discovered the secret to sustainable weight loss, and energy wasn’t in depriving my body but in nourishing it
correctly.

Armed with this knowledge, I now guide women over 40 in finding their own balance with nutrition and exercise that leads to weight loss, better health, and self-acceptance without the extreme.
