#1 – “Good morning, Gorgeous.”

Seriously, the first thing you do when you get up in the morning is run to the bathroom. Start your day off right, and say, good morning, gorgeous while looking in the mirror. Something nice, like you, mean it because really you should feel it. It seriously could change your whole day. Who knows, maybe you might even giggle. Who doesn’t love to start the day with a smile? Pro tip *while brushing your teeth, think of all the things you love about yourself. Your body will thank you later for it.

#2 – “You can do it.”

While it’s probably not OK to walk around and pose in the Wonder Women position, it is very OK to give yourself a positive talk and let yourself know you have the support and strength to get through it. Whatever you think you can, can, and will be done. Willpower is not only from within, and it is feeling the strength of support surrounding you.

You don’t have to feel alone. We’re here to support you.

#3 “I am enough.”

Probably the hardest out of all of them. I could spend hours writing about my thoughts and feelings about this statement. But, you, friend, are enough. You deserve the finest, and you may have whatever your heart desires. You have the courage and the support. Thank you for being you.

#4 “I am grateful for my good health, wealth, and happiness.”

Being grateful is something that I have learned more about over the years and hope to continue to learn. Having gratitude we know can make an impact on our lives. However, when thinking of being grateful and adding the reasons you’re thankful for these things, is when healing happens. So there are options with this one. I personally prefer to think of this when I am driving first thing in the morning. When working from home, I sit with my journal and write. Whether you write them or say them in your head, speak them out loud when you’re driving. It is important to have feelings when going through this process. I feel I should give you an example. I am grateful for my happiness because when I am happy, I write, and when I write, I am teaching my friends (you) about making improvements that make you happy. WIN!!!

#5 “Today, I choose to be happy.”

I will admit, there are days that I am stressed and things aren’t going right, and I say this phrase over and over again. Sometimes I will even follow it with a fun thought to try and bring myself back to my happy place. We are all having trying/difficult times. Something I like to do is, stop the task at hand. Drink a glass of water. Your next question to me is why?

Stopping the task and stepping away to get the water allows you to “regroup.” While you are getting the water allows your brain to settle “refocus.” Water is refreshing and necessary, and we don’t drink enough of it, so I just got you to drink another glass, yeah me! But in all seriousness, you need to “refuel.”
